Introductory lesson
During the introductory lesson (50 minutes) we will practice the basics (gaspedal, steering techniques, how to use the brake etc). At the end of the trial lesson your instructor will give you some advice about how many driving lessons you need and which package might suit you and then we can discuss the further details about the lessons. Start with a trial lesson
The best first step is a trial lesson. During this lesson, your instructor checks your current driving level, confidence and traffic awareness. After the lesson, you receive honest advice about how many lessons you may need and which package fits your situation.
A trial lesson is especially useful if you already have a foreign driving licence or driving experience in another country. Dutch traffic rules and CBR exam standards can be different, so a short assessment helps you know where you stand.

Driving lessons for expats and internationals
Flexdrive is a good choice if you prefer to learn in English and want clear guidance through the Dutch driving process. We help you practise the skills that are important in everyday traffic and during the CBR practical exam.
You will work on driving around cyclists, roundabouts, intersections, mirror use, parking, highway driving, independent route driving and safe decisions in busy traffic.

You can choose automatic or manual driving lessons in English.
Automatic lessons are ideal if you want a calmer learning experience and prefer to focus more on traffic situations. Manual lessons are a good choice if you want more flexibility after passing, because a manual licence allows you to drive both manual and automatic cars.

Prepare for the CBR driving exam
The CBR practical exam tests whether you can drive safely, independently and responsibly. During your lessons, your instructor gives clear feedback and helps you improve step by step.
Before your practical exam can be planned, you need a valid theory certificate. The car theory exam can be taken in English, so you can prepare in a language you understand well.
